Hi! I'm Sumeet, currently living in Seattle, Washington. Originally from the West Coast, just a bit north 🇨🇦. I'm passionate about creative projects and hands-on hobbies. I love repurposing materials and finding new life in old things. I'm also proud of my Punjabi, Sikh, and Queer identities, and I enjoy using my design skills to volunteer and mentor within these communities. When I'm not indoors getting crafty, I'm probably outdoors – backpacking, skiing, biking or just trying something new.

Photography, I've really enjoyed this hobby as a way of being more connected with my surroundings

Pottery, I love getting my hands into the clay and just zoning out for hours

Plants, I tend to over 30 plants in our small Seattle apartment

Skiing, grateful to live somewhere where I have access to the mountains

Adventuring, during the reopening of things my partner & I worked and travelled around for half a year

Backpacking, less intense than it looks I'm mostly in it for the snacks & that you can nap when you get to the top

Printmaking, this is from a workshop I ran at Google during UXU (the annual internal design conference)

Punch needling, one of many textile related hobbies I've picked up

Nails, a fun way to make something without the intention of it lasting

Family, my mom especially always motivated me to be and stay creative

Glass fusing, stained glass the one I still want to try is glass blowing

Henna, been a constant hobby since I was younger. I remember making the paste with my mom when I was younger

Sewing, here's a detailed shot of an upcycled jacket I made
Travel, fun fact I've been to 28 countries and counting
illustrations, I used to freelance as an illustrator. Now I mostly draw for myself
